Heidi finished knitting us and gave us to Stacy Lyn as she started traveling. Here we are outside Stacy Lyn’s front door, taking our first tentative step. We were nervous, but reassured because we had been made in love and friendship – the best guarantees that a multi-colored pair of Socks can have!

Here we wait with Stacy at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans.

We took the plunge and began our trek as planned. Our first flight took us from New Orleans to Washington, D.C.  Stacy Lyn hates to fly, and her feet get cold, but we were there – her trusty Socks – to keep her company.

Next stop, Washington, D.C. !
