Granddaughter wanted a rainbow scarf and hat, and this mémère delights in making her wishes come true.
I found this pattern in my old binder: Left Bank Beret and Scarf. Yes, that’s the genuine Left Bank of the Seine in the Mother Country of our ancestry. So another “yes,” to this most propitious discovery.

So pretty, she will look adorable! I don’t knit but crochet. I haven’t crocheted in several years though. Teaching full-time kept me very busy during the fall and winter months, which is when I love crocheting most. You’ve inspired me to make time for that again, thank you 😊
I’m crocheting her a cardigan right now using leftover yarn from another project. It’s kind of a patchwork of colors, another rainbow of sorts. “Fiber art” keeps my mind off matters of consequence, so it’s almost like a prayer.
I hope you rekindle your passion for handwork. XOXO
Love it! I can crochet but never learned to knit. Perhaps one day I shall! My sweet grandmother did knit and crochet, smock and tat. What beautiful pieces for your Darling to enjoy!
Blessings,
Kim
Thank you! I hope she wears it – she has a mind of her own. XOXO
Both are beautiful! I’m sure she’ll look adorable in them!
Thank you, Kay!
