Last week, Norm and I witnessed an incredible display of solidarity. Hundreds of motorcyclists road cross-country to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War. (I’m not here to debate the validity of calling it a war.) The Patriot Guard riders raised flags on an overpass in order to salute those who take this annual trip to Wasington,  D.C.

I was humbled to offer my time just to wave at the bikers as they passed through Ruston, Louisiana.
