Granddaughter has a mind of her own. She comes by it honest, as they say, as she descends from a long line of strong women. Headstrong women who know what they want, what is truly right, and who stand steadfast enough in their own convictions that changing their minds is next to impossible.

That’s why Granddaughter got what she wanted, what she asked for – a pink and blue and purple cardigan for cooler weather that must surely be approaching the Bayou State (in theory, anyway). Lucky for me, I had remnants in those colors. Lucky for me, she is my granddaughter.
