Sometimes just when you think you’ll never see Helios again – like he has grown weary of illuminating and heating Earth and her creatures – voilà, there he is once more.
He simply decides to grace our marble again and rain (reign) down on some of the prettiest of us.
These rhododendrons in Suresnes, France were the recipients of his magnanimity on this weekend day.
(But I stole some of the rays for myself, too. I even pocketed a few for use on a rainy day.)
I hope y’all had a beautiful, sun-filled weekend.
We had a beautiful Saturday, then it rained on Sunday and it will rain all week. I can’t complain, we had 15 days of sunshine in a row. Must be a record for rainy Seattle! Beautiful flowers there in France. I love the white with the purple throats. Stunning. Hope you continue to have sunshine! xx
That would have been nice, but it’s back to overcast days. (Glad I stole some rays while I had the chance.) ❤
It was a beautiful weekend in NYC, weatherwise.
but I didn’t see any flowers as stunning as those!
Glad you got to see the sun, too, Guap. It’s been pretty dismal in Paris lately, so I was pleasantly surprised by the sun’s brief appearance this weekend. ❤
