The rain was released from the sky with a fury while Jillian and I were at Starbucks.
Listen. Isn’t it beautiful? I could sit outside forever and listen to it, smell it, and feel it.
Nothing like the rain to wash the dust from my mind.

There is nothing better than a rainy day…especially when you live somewhere with a lot of greenery! Living in downtown Chicago, I don’t see storms like that, but I do get to enjoy seeing the clouds come over Lake Michigan, which I really love! Cheers!
I agree – a rainy day is the best kind of day! ❤
Writing from Paris, thanks Stacy for this nice thought. Now we do not need to go on YouTube any longer, with this beautiful music… “The Sound of the Rain in Louisiana” I must say that it is quiet rare here in France to get so much rain; we call it a storm, or a hurricane (we do not get any here except one every century)…
I love a Louisiana rain – so expressive. I know I’m home when I see a show like this one! ❤
Wow, that is an amazing downpour! If we had rain like that here, there would be immense flooding from the steep terrain. Even though they say it rains all the time in Seattle, it is a very light, misty rain for the most part and mostly just clouds. It looks like it is warm there. Do you run outside in your bathing suit when it pours like that? It looks like it would be fun to play in! xx
We did run outside in the rain in our bathing suits when we were kids – I remember begging my mom to let us do it, and sometimes she would relent. It is warm during spring, usually in the 70-85 degree range. ❤
