Headed east on the A4 Route Nationale in France led Norm and me to some strange sights. Specifically, roadside artwork – miles of it – in all shapes, sizes, and colors: cubes, triangles, cylinders, squares, circles in pink, blue, yellow. You name it.
What am I missing?
Here is a little slideshow if you want to see more of this craziness.
The world is the strangest place~~and art is everywhere. Sometimes things we don’t think of as art are really art. Hence, the world is a strange place~~and fascinating.
Yes, and the world would be boring without art! ❤
I love seeing things like this! It adds a touch of mystery and intrique to an ordinary journey! The banks along the highway create a perfect backdrop for these art installations. So nice that art is used in this way. I really like the ‘globes’. xx
We loved it, too,Karen. It was a break from the monotony of highway driving and something we had never before seen.<3
